you have to level up to level 15. Then it will take you to a new place where people will ask you what you want your job to be. Then you have to do four quests. The quests are easy. I am a mage and they are amazing! I hope that this helped!
This can be kinda hard to explain sometimes.



I have a lvl 34 mage.



To become a mage you first have to be on lvl 15 and then you have to go to saintmorning(buy a blinkwing from the magic shop in flarine). once your in saintmorning Just ask someone where to go to become a mage i'm sure someone will help, because it's not far.



Then you have to do 3 quest

the first quest you have to kill baby aibatts(which is really easy)



The second one is easy as well but can be very fustrating. You have to get 10 twinkle stones from aibatts and it usually takes awhile because higher your lvl less likely you get a twinkle stone from lower lvl monsters.



The 3rd one i don't quite remember what you have to do. I know it was easy. You have to find someone and they tell your the next quest.



after you complete those 3 quest your a mage.



Then you get to restat your character. I recommend putting most of your stats on int and a few on sta. Mages are suppose to be offensive not defensive. They kill fairly quick usually before the monster get close enough to hit you.



Flyff is a little confusing at the beginning but after you reach the lvl 15 things start to become alot easier.

Well, a really great place for info on monsters, quests, beginnning, and such would be flyfffansite.com. Another good site with player guides and more information is flyffworld.com.
