I want to load Flyff onto my laptop for my little brother to play, but I don't want him anywhere near my Windows OS. Is it possible to fun flyff and similar games on Ubuntu/Linux or a similar OS?|||Maybe. There doesn't seem to be a linux port so, the solution if any would be wine.

Check this spot to see if there's any ports. This site usually is among the first to get links to linux ports of popular games, so you might check in the future too. Also might as well check for other games you consider:

that is the linux game tome. make sure to go into the game tome listing, just hit a search by name, there's a lot more there than is on the home page. You'll see all the shooters there, and all the worldforge stuff, Ultima, etc.
World of Warcraft is one of the best-tested games under Wine, it is one of the officially supported games of the commercial Wine derivative called Crossover. Check the Wine AppDB to see if there's a comment about flyff.
